1. Definitions
- Platform: Wandergoo’s website/application.
- Host: Individual/travel organizer who lists and manages trips/events.
- Traveler: A user who books trips, events, or packages.
- Adventure School/Academy: Registered institutes or trainers hosting events/packages.
- Service Fee/Platform Fee: Non-refundable Facilitation Fee charged by Wandergoo.
- PG (Payment Gateway) Charges: Fees charged by third-party payment providers.
2. Platform Use & Services
- Users must be at least 18 years of age.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- Wandergoo is not a travel agent/agency, hotel, or adventure operator; it acts as a facilitator between hosts, travelers, and schools/academics.
- Services include platform access, booking system, secure payments, and assistance with dispute resolution and refunds.
- Inappropriate behavior or suspicious activity may result in removal or suspension of the user profile.
3. Host Responsibilities
- Hosts must provide accurate trip details, itinerary, inclusions, and exclusions.
- Hosts are responsible for safety, necessary permits, and legal compliance.
- Hosts must manage cancellations or changes promptly.
4. Traveler Responsibilities
- Review trip details before booking.
- Arrange own travel to/from the pick-up point unless otherwise mentioned.
- Comply with host/school rules during trips or events.
- Carry valid ID, permits, and insurance where required.
- Be fit for the activities you book (trekking, rafting, climbing, etc.).
5. Adventure Schools & Academies
- Schools are responsible for safety standards, equipment, and certified instructors.
- Wandergoo does not provide insurance and is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages during activities.
- Schools must clearly list cancellation/refund policies.
6. Payments & Fees
- All payments must be made through the Wandergoo platform. Wandergoo is not responsible for any transactions outside the platform.
- Travelers pay through Wandergoo’s payment system.
- Wandergoo charges a non-refundable Facilitation Fee (commission).
- PG charges are deducted by third-party providers and are non-refundable.
- Settlement of funds to hosts/schools occurs within 7–14 days post event completion (after deducting platform fee & PG charges).
6.1 Offline Payment Process
- Direct Peer-to-Peer Transfers: Some hosts may accept offline payments via UPI or Bank Transfer. These are direct, peer-to-peer transactions between the Traveler and the Host. Wandergoo does not process, hold, or guarantee these funds.
- Proof of Payment & Liability: It is strictly mandatory for the Traveler to upload a clear screenshot of the payment receipt. This digital proof serves as the sole evidence of the transaction. Wandergoo holds absolutely no liability for any disputes, lost funds, or unverified transactions arising from offline transfers.
- Verification: Offline payments are verified manually by the host. Verification usually takes 24–48 hours. Your booking status remains "Pending Confirmation" until the host manually approves the payment.
- Host Confirmation & Proof: The Host is strictly required to upload a confirmation receipt from their bank validating the receipt of funds before the booking can be officially approved. Wandergoo is not liable for delays in host verification.
- Rejection: Hosts reserve the right to reject a booking if the payment cannot be independently verified in their records or if incorrect details are provided.
- Refunds & Refund Proofs: Any eligible refunds must be processed directly by the host to the traveler. If a refund is initiated, the Host is strictly required to provide valid photographic proof of the refund transfer. Travelers must review this proof and confirm receipt to complete the process. Wandergoo only facilitates the recording of these transactions and holds no liability.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation Policies: Each trip or event has a cancellation policy set by the service provider at creation. Platform Fee is generally non-refundable except in cases where the cancellation is due to a platform error. For offline payments, the guest must coordinate directly with the host for the refund amount according to this policy.
- Traveler Cancellations:
- Before host cutoff date: Refunds eligible according to provider’s policy, minus Platform Fee & Payment Gateway (PG) charges.
- After cutoff date or no-show: No refund.
- Host Cancellations: If the host cancels the trip/event, the traveler may receive either:
- A rescheduled trip/event, or
- Full refund of trip/event cost minus Platform Fee & PG charges.
- Refund Processing: All eligible refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method used at booking.
- Min Trip Refund Processing: Currently we don't support refund for mini trips once paid this will not be refunded.
- Slot Transfers: Travelers may transfer their booking to another person before cutoff date, subject to host approval. Applies only to the specific trip/event. Full refund will be provided only if another participant takes your place. Partial refunds follow provider policy.
- Used Funds: If funds under your name were already used for registration and your slot is replaced by another participant, refunds will be issued only if eligible; otherwise, no refund will be provided.
8. Disputes
- Users must first attempt to resolve the issue directly.
- If unresolved, Wandergoo may step in; decision will be final.
9. Risk & Liability
- Adventure travel, sports, and events involve risks (injury, illness, accidents).
- Travelers acknowledge these risks; Wandergoo is not liable.
- Wandergoo does not provide insurance. Travelers should arrange their own coverage.
- Hosts are liable for disputes with travelers unless due to Wandergoo’s technical error.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content, design, and logos of Wandergoo are owned by Wandergoo.
- Users may not use Wandergoo branding without permission.
11. Privacy & Data Handling
- Wandergoo collects and processes personal data as per our Privacy Policy.
- Payment details are processed securely via third-party providers.
12. Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of [Tirupur Court].
13. Modifications
- Wandergoo reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.
- Users will be notified of significant changes.
